Description
We designed this tour for those wishing to spend a day in Tuscany and get to know one of the famous cities of this region, whilst enjoying good food and wine.
The tour starts at 8:00 Am in the morning, your driver will pick you up at your hotel or a location in Rome where we will begin your day trip to Siena and San Gimignano.
Siena
Once in Siena, the beautiful city of medieval Tuscany, we will arrive in the main square which is shaped like a shell called Piazza del Campo. The square is famous for the Palio di Siena traditional horse race and also dominated by the fourteenth-century public building and the tower of measuring a height of 87 meters.
You will find many stairs lead us to the top of the tower and after you admired the landscape of Siena you walk back down to the foot of the building where you will find the chapel of the virgin, while on the opposite side there is a Renaissance masterpiece Fonte Gaia decorated by Jacopo della Quercia.
Afterwards we will move onto the most famous and well-known local wineries in the Chianti area where you can taste some excellent wine, olive oil and the fragrant, spicy 30 year old aged balsamic vinegar of Tenuta Casanova di Castellina in Chianti.

Famous for its many medieval towers and churches including The Collegiate Church also known as the Cathedral built on three naves, the walls are painted with frescoes.
Like any medieval Tuscan city, the narrow streets and typical squares are an opportunity to take a nice walk and shop selling local delicacies.
